Once you’ve created an outgoing payment, you can track the status of it from the Neat dashboard or the payment tracking link*.
Step 1: Go to Balances
Step 2: Click on the outgoing payment’s currency balance (GBP/EUR/HKD/USD)
Step 3: Find the transaction under the Pending Payments or Payments tab
You’ll find a status badge on the top right which indicates the status of your payment.
*Payment tracking links expire 30 days after a transaction has completed, failed or returned, so you won’t be able to access or share it after that.

Once you’ve created your payment instructions, you’ll be able to share the payment’s status with your payee through the payment tracking link*.
You can find this tracking link in 3 places:
On the final page after you’ve successfully created a payment
The payment instructions email
Clicking “Share with Payee” in the transaction detail on the Neat dashboard
Created: You’ve successfully created the payment instructions.
Processing: Our system is processing the payment, which usually takes only a few minutes. It can take up to one business day if more information about the payment is required. .
In Transit: The payment is on its way to your payee, which can take up to 5 business days.
Completed: Your payment has successfully reached its destination.
Failed: Your payment was unsuccessful. Learn more about why payments fail.
