SEPA (Single Euro Payments Areas) is a payment system to simplify bank transfers in Europe. It allows European consumers and businesses to make cross-border payments denominated in Euro, as easily as they would do domestic payments.
SEPA zone consists of 36 countries, including countries where the Euro is not the local currency. Learn more about which country you can send SEPA payments to here.
What does this mean for Neat customers?
If you have a EUR or GBP balance, you could make fee-free payments to payees in (selective) SEPA participating countries.
